My New Toy

A quick non hobby related post (and why my blog has been quiet lately)...

I have my own little 'count as' Titan just in time for the new apocalypse release!

He is our first, born in the early hours of Friday the 12th of of July.

He should be ready to start gaming by about 2025 but until then he will be my little model smasher...
(Bugga, I need to make myself a child proof desk before he gets fully operational!)

  2. Congratulations!!!!

And he'll be good to game by 2021. 8 is a good age to introduce them to it. :)

  5. Congrats. If you don't already have one, I'd suggest getting a baby wipe warmer. It sounds ridiculous (I scoffed at my wife for mentioning it), but it will cut down on his protests and dramatically increase the amount of time you'll be able to sleep.

  6. Hearty, hearty congratulaions!

...and don't sweat the destruction. I have two girls and I quickly realised two things:

    1) Get in there early. My firstborn (3 and a half now) has always understood that under no circumstances is she to touch daddy's toys. She asks me questions about them sometimes, but knows never to touch for now.
    2) FAR more importantly, I realised that - actually - as long as they don't hurt themselves I honestly couldn't care less what happens to my toys!

    Congrats!

Colonel Scipio, LOL I wouldn't dare! I might drop a model!

Tiberius Primaris, Cheers, I'm hoping to get a few small game in before then but we’ll see.

Frothing Muppet, Yep 3.5kg (7.8lbs) –massive for 5 weeks early! So yes, totally a Warlord class!

    Warhammer39999, cheers for the advice.

Admiral Drax, well said. I think that is bang on the mark. Cheers!
